Job/Group Overview： A global financial services group with an integrated global network spanning over 30 countries operates a diverse IT environment with employees of over 25 nationalities. The organization works on technical support, application development and implementation of system changes for Retail Wealth Management Business and Global Wholesale (Global Markets and Investment Banking). We are seeking a Software Engineer to join the Equity Technology team. The role involves working closely with front office users as well as other technology teams to deliver and support front office solutions. The successful candidate will be passionate about technology, possess strong problem-solving skills, and be a proactive team player with a strong drive for success. The role requires the ability to work effectively under pressure and deliver within tight deadlines. The team supports a mixed technology environment, including Java and C#/.NET applications. The role involves supporting and enhancing existing Java backend systems, while remaining open to other technologies and contributing to their modernization over time. It would be advantageous to have experience developing front office trading systems and a solid understanding of the Equities Delta1 business, including the equity product lifecycle, trade booking, risk, and P&L calculations. Responsibilities： - Engage with the business to understand new initiatives, ideas, and issues - Develop new features in Java or C# in a distributed environment - Transition existing desktop applications to a web-based stack - Support and maintain existing Equities Delta1 tools - Work with modern productivity tools and AI-assisted development approaches, including prompt engineering, to improve development efficiency and solution quality |
